BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman held a virtual meeting with a US trade delegation from the administration of President Donald Trump. The meeting took place on Friday (today) at 9 am Bangladesh time.
Salih Shibli, press secretary to the BNP chairman, confirmed the matter. The delegation, led by US Trade Representative Jamison Greer, participated in discussions on bilateral trade relations, tariffs, market access, and strengthening future economic cooperation. Both sides exchanged views on mutual interests and explored new areas for collaboration.
Other members of the US delegation included Brendan Lynch, Assistant Trade Representative for South and Central Asia, and Emily Ashby, Director for the same region.
