Efforts to resolve the ongoing conflict involving Iran have stalled as no progress has been made between the United States and Tehran, making the situation increasingly complex.

US President Donald Trump said that Iran’s recent proposals are not satisfactory, while Tehran says it is ready for diplomatic talks if Washington changes its position.

Speaking to reporters at the White House, President Trump said that although Iran wants a deal, their conditions are not acceptable. He said there is internal division within Iran’s leadership and different factions are making different demands.

He further said that some communication is happening over the phone, but no effective agreement has been reached. He also indicated that without quick progress, a hard stance will continue.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that Tehran is ready to return to negotiations if the United States moves away from “excessive pressure, threatening language, and provocative behavior.” However, he warned that Iran is also prepared to defend itself against any threats.

Iranian sources say that the country has activated its air defense systems amid fears of possible attacks and has prepared rapid response plans if necessary.

Tensions are also increasing among the United States and its allies amid the conflict. Recently, the US announced the withdrawal of several thousand troops from Germany, further complicating diplomatic relations.

The Strait of Hormuz has become a major focal point of tension between Iran and the United States. Any disruption or closure of this key global energy route could significantly impact the global economy.

Although there are renewed indications of possible talks, oil prices in the international market have slightly declined. However, experts warn that instability could return if the situation does not stabilize.

The ongoing conflict has already caused thousands of deaths and worsened humanitarian conditions across the region. Economic pressure is also increasing due to sanctions and military blockades on Iran.

At present, both sides have not completely closed the door to dialogue, but the gap in positions remains significant. International analysts believe that a quick resolution to the Iran crisis is unlikely.
