Release of Thalapathy Vijay’s Final Film ‘Jan Nayagan’ in Uncertainty Due to Censorship Issues

South Indian superstar Thalapathy Vijay’s much-anticipated final film, ‘Jan Nayagan,’ faces uncertainty over its release. Though initially set to release recently, the film has not yet received clearance from India’s Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

The film was initially reviewed, with indications that minor cuts could allow certification. However, the process was halted, and the film was sent to a newly formed committee for re-evaluation. The production company appealed to the Madras High Court, claiming the delay was unjustified despite submitting the film over a month ago.

The court is expected to deliver a final decision on January 9. The film stars Vijay alongside Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamita Baiju, Gautam Basudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, Priyamani, and Sunil.
