Chittagong University (CU) has published the results of the 2025–26 undergraduate (honors) first-year admission test for the Social Sciences Faculty, ‘D’ Unit. The results were announced simultaneously on the university’s website and official Facebook page on Thursday, January 8, at 1 PM.
Dean of the Social Sciences Faculty, Prof. Enayet Ullah Patwary, confirmed that out of 47,434 candidates, 16,156 passed. The highest score was 90.50%, achieved by candidate 601368.
The D Unit includes nine departments of the Social Sciences Faculty, the Law Department of the Faculty of Law, the Education & Research Department, and two departments under the Faculty of Biological Sciences. With 849 seats available, 51,505 applications were received, averaging around 60 candidates per seat. Further admission instructions for successful candidates will be announced soon.
