The Directorate General of Medical Education has instructed admission candidates for the 2025–2026 academic year in private medical and dental colleges to complete the admission process within the specified time.

In a notice issued on Sunday (April 19), it was stated that students must pay the first installment of admission and tuition fees—60 percent of the total prescribed fees—by April 23. It also directed that all admission formalities must be completed within the same day.

The notice mentioned that the second phase of optional migration and admission from the waiting list ended on April 16. As a result, completing admission within the specified time is now mandatory for students.

In addition, each college has been instructed to send the list of admitted and remaining students along with information on vacant seats to the concerned authorities by 4:00 PM on the same day. This information must be submitted via email to the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council and related offices.

The notice further stated that for students whose colleges change in the third phase of migration, deposited money and necessary documents must be quickly transferred to the new college.

The Directorate of Health Education has stated that failure to complete the admission process within the deadline may result in cancellation of admission opportunities for the concerned students.
