BPSC Announces Recruitment for 147 Posts Across 19 Categories in Two Notices

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has published two recruitment notices for non-cadre positions, announcing appointments to 147 posts across 19 categories. Applications opened on November 1 and will remain open until 6:00 pm on November 30.

According to the BPSC notices, a total of 12 candidates will be recruited for five types of positions under the fifth and sixth grades, while another 135 candidates will be appointed to 14 types of positions under grades nine to twelve. Applicants must apply through the BPSC website or the designated Teletalk application portal.

Recruitment under notice numbers 78–82 will cover positions in the fifth and sixth grades. These include System Analyst, Maintenance Engineer, Assistant Chief Architect, Programmer and Junior Consultant (Medicine).

Three people will be recruited for the System Analyst position. The salary scale for this post ranges from Tk 86,000 to Tk 139,700.

The recruitment plan also includes one Maintenance Engineer, two Assistant Chief Architects, one Programmer and five Junior Consultants (Medicine). The salary scale for these positions ranges from Tk 71,000 to Tk 134,000.

Under notice numbers 83–96, the commission will recruit 135 people for positions in grades nine to twelve. These positions include Law Officer, Boiler Inspector, Assistant Refrigeration Engineer, Research Officer, Sub-Registrar, Protocol Officer, Deputy Assistant Maintenance Engineer, Assistant Protocol Officer, Photo Technician, Assistant Instructor, Senior Instructor and Nurse Midwife.

The highest number of appointments in this category will be made to the Sub-Registrar position, with 84 people to be recruited. In addition, 19 candidates will be appointed as Nurse Midwives, nine as Assistant Instructors and seven as Deputy Assistant Maintenance Engineers. Several other positions will have one to three vacancies each.

Age limits have been set according to the respective positions. Candidates applying for System Analyst and Junior Consultant (Medicine) posts must be no older than 40 years. The maximum age limit for Maintenance Engineer, Assistant Chief Architect and Programmer positions is 35 years.

For the remaining positions, the general maximum age limit is 32 years. However, candidates currently employed in government service applying for the Research Officer position may be up to 35 years old.

The application fee for positions from the first to the fourteenth categories is Tk 200. The fee for applicants from disadvantaged communities is Tk 50. For positions from the fifteenth to the nineteenth categories, the application fee is Tk 150.
