As part of preparations for teacher recruitment in non-government educational institutions, the Non-Government Teachers’ Registration and Certification Authority has published an updated list of vacant posts. According to the list released on Saturday (April 19), a total of 77,799 vacant posts have been identified.

According to the published information, there are 77,299 teacher vacancies in schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical educational institutions combined. The remaining posts fall under other related categories.

Sources from NTRCA said that this list has been prepared as part of the preparation for publishing the 19th teacher registration notification. Through this, a comprehensive picture of teacher shortages in MPO-affiliated institutions across the country is becoming available.

Previously, the deadline for submitting information on vacant posts was extended by the authorities. Additional time was given as many institutions could not submit their data within the original deadline. As a result, it became possible to publish this updated and complete list.

Relevant officials said that filling these large numbers of vacant posts is expected to reduce the long-standing teacher shortage in the education sector. It will also create a major opportunity for candidates interested in taking the registration examination.
