Ninth-Grader Dies from Snakebite in Faridpur

Arafan Munshi, a ninth-grade student at Kaulibera Kazi Waliullah High School in Faridpur district's Bhanga Upazila, has died from a venomous snakebite. The school's headmaster, Mezbah Ahmed Khan, confirmed his death.

According to Mezbah Ahmed Khan, quoting the student's family, Arafan Munshi was the son of the late Md. Hatem Munshi from Charavita village in the union. He had transferred from a Madrasa and enrolled in the ninth grade at Kazi Waliullah High School this year.

Arafan returned home on Monday morning after taking an exam. In the middle of that night, while asleep, a venomous snake bit him, causing intense pain and suffering, leading him to lose consciousness. His family rushed him to the hospital around 2 AM, where doctors on duty declared him dead.
