Discontent is growing among political allies of BNP over the delayed implementation of the promised “national government” after elections.
Political sources say that although BNP promised inclusive governance with coalition partners during the anti-government movement, only a limited number of representatives have been included in the government.
Currently, only three leaders from allied parties hold positions in the government, leading many to believe it is effectively a BNP-led administration.
Several allied leaders have publicly and privately expressed dissatisfaction, saying the promised inclusive structure has not been implemented.
Leaders of Ganosamhati Andolon and Workers Party also criticized the current arrangement, stating that without broad participation, a true national government is not being realized.
Some BNP-allied leaders remain hopeful that greater inclusion may happen gradually.
Political analysts believe this issue may influence the future of coalition politics in the country and reshape alliances moving forward.
