Inqilab Mancha has announced a new program demanding justice for the murder of spokesperson Sharif Osman Bin Hadi, bringing back fugitive accused individuals to the country, and uncovering the background of the incident.
At an emergency press conference held on Wednesday in front of Dhaka University’s Madhur Canteen, the announcement was made.
Member Secretary Abdullah Al Jaber said a torch rally will be held on Thursday evening at Shahbagh in Dhaka. A protest march will also be organized after Friday prayers from the central mosque of Dhaka University. Similar programs will be held in different parts of the country.
He alleged that the investigation process is not progressing at the expected pace, and reports have been repeatedly delayed.
He said that although various explanations and political analyses have emerged, the true cause and background of the murder have not yet been clarified.
Questions were also raised about the possible motives behind the killing, and the organization demanded a full investigation to uncover any domestic or international involvement.
Concerns were raised about border management and the escape of accused individuals after the incident. He argued that prompt action could have prevented their escape.
He also questioned the role of intelligence agencies, saying that despite some unofficial information emerging, the public is not receiving sufficient updates from state investigations.
The organization demanded a clear roadmap to bring the perpetrators to justice and called for an impartial investigation following international standards.
