Border Guard Bangladesh Ready to Face Any Adverse Situation

Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddique, Director General of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), has stated that the BGB is fully prepared to confront any hostile situation whenever the country and nation require it.

He made these remarks on Thursday morning (July 10) at the closing and parade ceremony of the 103rd recruit batch at the BGB Training Center Baitul Izzat in Satkania, Chattogram.

Addressing the new recruits, the Director General said that BGB members are ready to lay down their lives to protect the country and will not yield an inch of land. He also emphasized that the BGB will show no leniency toward opposing forces.

At the event, the Director General called on the soldiers to perform their duties with discipline to stop smuggling along the borders.

Earlier, the Director General inspected the training completion parade of the new recruits and received their salutes. Brigadier General Gazi Nahiduzzaman, Commandant of BGB Training Centre and School (BGTCS), was also present at the event.
