Bangladesh Army Chief Meets Turkish Defense Industry Secretary: Discussions on Strengthening Defense Cooperation

The Chief of Staff of the Bangladesh Army, General Waker-Uz-Zaman, met with Professor Haluk Görgün, Secretary of Turkey's Defense Industries, at Army Headquarters on Tuesday, July 8.

During the meeting, both officials exchanged pleasantries and discussed ways to further strengthen the existing defense cooperation between their two countries. Professor Haluk Görgün assured Bangladesh of potential technical and strategic assistance for the development of its defense industry.

The Army Chief expressed keen interest in producing various modern warfare equipment and advancing defense technology in Bangladesh with Turkey's cooperation. This meeting is expected to further advance military and technological ties between the two friendly nations.
