Admission Test Held for CU ‘B’ Unit; 96 Students Competing per Seat

The ‘B’ Unit admission test for the Faculty of Science at Comilla University (CU) for the 2025–26 academic year has been completed. The examination was conducted peacefully on Saturday (31 January) from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

According to university administration sources, a total of 390 seats are available in the ‘B’ Unit for the current academic year. A total of 37,614 applicants registered for the test, resulting in an average of more than 96 candidates per seat, highlighting the intensity of the competition.

The exam was conducted at two centers: Comilla University center had 24,991 examinees, while Rajshahi University center had 12,623 examinees.

The one-hour test consisted of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each wrong answer carries a 0.25 mark deduction. Candidates must score at least 33 marks to pass.

Earlier, on 28 January, the university issued instructions to ensure a fair, transparent, and peaceful examination. Guidelines emphasized arriving on time, bringing only approved materials, and maintaining discipline.

University authorities reported that the exam concluded without any irregularities, and the results along with subsequent procedures will be completed according to the schedule.
