Tributes Paid to Zia Ur Rahman and Khaleda Zia, BNP Candidate Calls Khaleda a Symbol of Courage

Saiful Haque, general secretary of Bangladesh Revolutionary Workers Party and BNP alliance candidate in Dhaka-12, paid tribute to the late President Ziaur Rahman and former BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia at Zia Udyan on Sunday (January 11).

He lauded Khaleda Zia as a symbol of courage in the fight for democracy and citizens’ rights, stating that her uncompromising stance inspires people opposing authoritarianism. He expressed confidence in BNP’s acting chairman, Tarique Rahman, to continue her political legacy.
