The Democratic Reform Alliance, including NCP, expressed deep concern over the failure to arrest those involved in the attack on Sharif Osman Hadi. They also raised concerns about overall security and upcoming national elections.
In an urgent meeting on Wednesday evening in Dhaka, the alliance discussed these issues in detail and announced plans to form district and constituency-level resistance structures to take strong political action against fascist proxies. The alliance demanded a proper, impartial investigation by the government and law enforcement.
Alliance leaders noted that fascist forces and collaborators are attempting to politically reorganize and analyzed related intelligence. NCP, Amar Bangladesh Party (AB Party), and Bangladesh State Reform Movement agreed to strengthen meetings at city, district, and grassroots levels.
The alliance also decided to move forward with joint candidate selection for the upcoming 13th parliamentary election and proposed Constitutional Reform Council. Two subcommittees will be formed for political manifesto, branding, and campaign strategy.
