Chief Whip Pays Tribute at Graves of Late Ziaur Rahman and Khaleda Zia

On Wednesday afternoon, the Chief Whip of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad, Md. Nurul Islam, along with six newly appointed whips, paid tribute at the graves of late President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia. They laid wreaths, observed a moment of silence, and participated in prayers for the souls of the deceased.

Accompanying the Chief Whip were Whips G.K. Gaus, Rokibul Islam, Mia Nuruddin Ahmed Apu, M Ruhul Quddus Talukdar Dulu, Md. Akhtaruzzaman Mia, and A.B.M. Ashraf Uddin.

According to the National Parliament Secretariat, a briefing session was also held on the same day in the Cabinet Room with the Chief Whip and whips, discussing parliamentary operations, duties, and coordination. Directions were provided to make parliamentary activities more effective.
