Dighi returns with ‘Biday’ for Eid-ul-Azha, plans to finish remaining shooting soon

Actress Prarthana Fardin Dighi, who gained renewed attention through the movie Jongli released last Eid, is returning to the big screen. Her new movie, Biday, is being prepared for release during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.

The film is directed by Mehedi Hasan. Shooting, which began in Sunamganj in October last year, was not completed on schedule, delaying the release. It is reported that the remaining parts of the movie will begin shooting very soon, making a release during Eid-ul-Azha likely.

Regarding the film, Dighi stated that some important scenes in Malaysia are yet to be filmed. Additionally, a song sequence has not been completed. However, she expressed hope that the schedule will be finalized soon and shooting will be completed.

As a special feature of Biday, the filmmakers and associates noted that there is no single conventional hero in the story; rather, the story itself is the main attraction. Alongside Dighi, the cast includes Bapparaj, Faruq Ahmed, and Fazlur Rahman Babu.

Dighi expressed her expectation that the movie would leave a lasting impression on audiences. According to her, the story combines emotion and realism in a way that helps viewers relate it to their own lives.

In addition to Biday, Dighi is busy with another project. She has already completed shooting a web movie directed by Suman Dhar, which is also expected to release during the Eid-ul-Azha season.
