Written Exam Date Announced for Assistant Teacher Recruitment in Government Primary Schools

The schedule for the written exam, the first phase of recruitment for assistant teachers in government primary schools, has been announced. The exam will be held on 2 January 2026.

Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, confirmed this on Wednesday (10 December) via a Facebook post, writing, “The written exam for assistant teacher recruitment will be held on 2 January 2026.”

Earlier, on 5 November, the ministry published the first phase recruitment notice, covering Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet, Mymensingh, and Rangpur divisions. The second phase will cover Dhaka and Chittagong divisions, with 4,166 vacant positions.
