The Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has issued several important instructions for students to ensure smooth and orderly conduct of the upcoming HSC and equivalent examinations.

According to separate notices published on the board’s website on Wednesday (June 17), a special control room will be established to handle exam-related information and complaints. Students, guardians, and concerned individuals will be able to contact the control room directly.

The board stated that in addition to dedicated phone numbers, multiple mobile numbers and email addresses will be available for communication to ensure quick response during examinations.

To maintain transparency and discipline, clear instructions have been given regarding calculator usage. Only approved scientific non-programmable calculators will be allowed in the exam hall. The permission to use non-programmable wristwatches with hands remains in effect.

To reduce traffic congestion and crowding around exam centers, instructions have been issued regarding entry timing. Only examinees will be allowed to enter centers from 8:30 AM on exam days. Center secretaries and officials have been instructed to take necessary measures.

The board also confirmed that previously issued instructions regarding exam conduct will remain in force.

It is noted that the HSC and equivalent examinations for 2026 are scheduled to begin on July 2. Preparations are already being strengthened by the education boards.
