According to the United Nations, hundreds of people seeking food assistance in Gaza have been killed in attacks by Israeli forces. The organization stated that approximately 800 aid seekers have lost their lives in similar attacks over the past six weeks.
According to sources from Gaza hospitals, at least 60 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli forces operation in the strip since Saturday morning. Of the deceased, 27 were people who were waiting for aid.
An Al Jazeera report states that at least 10 Palestinians were also killed on Friday while waiting for aid. The UN reported that the death toll from repeated attacks on aid seekers has reached nearly 800 over the last six weeks. In light of this continuous series of events, the Israeli army has issued new directives for its soldiers. The UN stated that Israel’s attacks on food aid centers in Gaza are continuing.
