Two Platoons of BGB Deployed in Front of Evercare Hospital

BGB officer Altaf Hossain said on Wednesday morning that one platoon is stationed at the main hospital gate and another patrols the surrounding area as part of overall security vigilance.

Earlier, police set up barricades on Monday night to control the growing crowd of leaders and activists outside the hospital. Despite instructions from central leaders to avoid gathering, many supporters came to see their leader in person.

After Khaleda Zia was declared a “Very Very Important Person” (VVIP) on Tuesday, the Special Security Force (SSF) took responsibility for her protection. SSF members have been on duty at the hospital since the afternoon.

Family members and party leaders are regularly monitoring her health. Due to increased security, movement around the hospital area is being carefully managed.
