Tanzia Zaman Mithila in the Spotlight as Second Heroine in Shakib Khan’s “Rockstar”

Interest in Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan’s upcoming Eid-ul-Azha film “Rockstar” is steadily increasing. After completing the shooting of the film Prince, Shakib Khan is set to begin work on this new project following a short break. It has been learned that Rockstar will feature two heroines opposite Shakib Khan.

Although the name of the lead heroine has not yet been officially announced, Miss Universe Bangladesh Tanzia Zaman Mithila is strongly being discussed as the second heroine. Multiple sources associated with the film claim that Mithila has already held several meetings with director Ajman Rousho and has shown interest in the role.

Regarding the matter, director Ajman Rousho said last Sunday that it would take some more time to make a final decision on casting. He added that the name of the second heroine would be officially announced within two to three days, but declined to share further details until everything is finalized.

On the other hand, Tanzia Zaman Mithila has not made any public comments yet. She stated that she would speak about the film only after everything is finalized.

Sources say that the production team is considering a popular actress from either Bangladesh or Pakistan as the main heroine of Rockstar. However, the production house has refrained from commenting due to the absence of a formal contract. It is expected that the name of the lead heroine may be revealed by the end of this month.

It has also been reported that although the second heroine’s role is important, she will not appear in any songs with Shakib Khan.

Tanzia Zaman Mithila began her career in modeling before entering acting. In addition to working in television dramas and OTT platforms, she gained attention after participating in the Miss Universe competition. She also acted in a Hindi film in 2020. Recently, she expressed her desire to work regularly in Bangladeshi cinema and mentioned her interest in acting opposite Shakib Khan.

If everything proceeds as planned, Mithila’s dream of appearing on the big screen opposite Shakib Khan may finally come true through Rockstar.
