Skills must be connected with education and employment: State Minister Aminul Haque

Youth and Sports State Minister Aminul Haque has emphasized transforming educated youth into skilled manpower instead of only certificate holders. He said ensuring employment alongside education quality improvement is a top government priority.

Speaking on Saturday (June 27) at a farewell and prayer event at Pallabi Degree College in Dhaka, he said training centers are being expanded nationwide.

He added that the government is prioritizing education sector development, improving teachers’ skills, infrastructure, and learning environment.

He said youth training programs will be expanded to create employment opportunities.

He also urged maintaining discipline in educational institutions and warned against attempts to create instability.

College Governing Body Chairman Md. Ishaq (Shipon), Acting Principal Jahidul Islam, and others attended the event.
