SKF Pharmaceuticals Provides Modern Research Equipment to GOBIPRABI

In remembrance of the July martyrs, SKF Pharmaceuticals Limited has donated modern research equipment to enhance the research quality of the Department of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine at Gopalganj Science and Technology University (GOBIPRABI).

On Monday (August 11) at 2 PM, representatives from SKF formally handed over the equipment to the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Hossain Uddin Shekhar. The donated items include microscopes, lactometers, autoclave machines, single-channel micropipettes and plates, pH meters, and various types of test kits.

The event was attended by the university’s Treasurer Professor Dr. Mohammad Nazmul Ahsan, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture Dr. Zilhas Ahmed Jewel, SKF representatives Dr. Pran Gopal Chakraborty and Dr. Md. Rajibul Hasan, along with faculty members and students from the department.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Hossain Uddin Shekhar expressed his gratitude for SKF’s generous support and hoped that the institution would continue such cooperation in the future.

The Bangladesh Veterinary Council has already started registering students from the Department of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine at GOBIPRABI, which is considered a significant advancement for the department.

The support is expected to make the department’s research activities more dynamic and facilitate the incorporation of modern technology, according to the concerned officials.
