Police Raid at ‘Dubai Guest House’ in Savar, 22 Detained Over Alleged Anti-Social Activities

Police conducted a raid at a residential hotel called "Dubai Guest House" in the Savar Bazar Bus Stand area, arresting 22 people, including 9 women. The operation was carried out on Tuesday (October 14) at 10:00 PM by the Savar Model Police Station based on confidential information.

The Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Savar Model Police Station, Juel Mia, stated that a total of 22 people, including 9 women, were arrested during the raid. It is initially reported that some of the detainees may be husband and wife pairs. Their identities are being verified, and interrogations are ongoing.

The OC further said, "Investigations are underway against those arrested on charges of anti-social activities. Legal action will be taken against those whose involvement is proven after verification."

Additionally, the police have stated that they will continue operations against such activities and are committed to taking stricter measures to establish a crime-free environment in society.
