Osman Hadi under observation at Evercare Hospital, still at risk

Sharif Osman Hadi, the potential independent candidate for Dhaka-8 and Inquilab Munch leader, remains under intensive observation at Evercare Hospital. Inquilab Munch stated on Saturday morning that his condition is still not fully stable. Doctors say it will take at least 48 more hours before any definitive prognosis can be made.

Abdullah Al Jaber, Secretary of Inquilab Munch, said Hadi has an internal response to treatment, which is positive, but he is not yet out of danger. He urged citizens to pray for Hadi’s recovery.

Hadi was shot in the head on Friday while campaigning in Dhaka following the announcement of the 13th parliamentary elections schedule. After emergency treatment and initial surgery at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, he was transferred to Evercare Hospital for advanced care.

The incident has caused widespread concern among political circles. Various parties condemned the attack and demanded immediate arrest and exemplary punishment of the perpetrators.
