PNN News Desk, Naogaon:

Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Dr. Shafiqul Rahman stated that if his party comes to power, there will be no leniency for anyone involved in extortion, corruption, bank robbery, or case trading. He emphasized that Jamaat has never indulged in extortion politics and will not allow it in the future.

On Thursday (February 5), at 11 am, he addressed a public meeting at ETIM Maidan, Naogaon city, as the chief guest. Dr. Rahman stressed that there is no compromise with corrupt individuals or bank robbers. Those who have looted state resources through cases and corruption over the past decades will be brought under the law if Jamaat comes to power.

Dr. Rahman also assured protection of all citizens regardless of religion or ethnicity. He promised to secure women's safety and dignity in homes, streets, and workplaces and warned that any attempt to threaten or abuse women will be met with strict social and legal resistance.

He highlighted that leadership is not a hereditary right and that talented individuals from poor families should have the opportunity to lead the country. He criticized parties that have looted state resources and transferred wealth abroad over the last fifty years and pledged to recover these funds if Jamaat comes to power. He also proposed initiatives to support farmers and modernize infrastructure and industries in Naogaon.
