No interest in reconciling with parents: Explosive statement by Brooklyn Beckham on social media

Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, the eldest son of world-famous football star David Beckham and fashion designer Victoria Beckham, has publicly stated that he does not wish to reconcile with his parents. In a lengthy post on social media platform Instagram, he acknowledged family disputes and made multiple serious allegations.

On Monday, through several Instagram stories, Brooklyn claimed that his parents have been creating their own narratives about the family in the media for years and have tried to interfere in his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz. After marrying in 2022, he adopted the name ‘Peltz Beckham’ by adding his wife Nicola’s family name.

Addressing over 16 million followers, he said, “This is the first time in my life that I am standing up for myself.” He further added that his long-term mental stress has eased significantly after stepping away from the pressure and control of his family.

Rumors of conflict between the Beckham family and their eldest son have been circulating for many years. Although tabloids have published various reports on the matter, this is the first time Brooklyn has explicitly stated his position.

In his statement, he highlighted several incidents from his wedding. He alleged that just before the wedding, Victoria Beckham canceled the plan to create a dress for Nicola, forcing her to find another designer at the last minute. Ultimately, Nicola wore a haute couture gown from the Italian fashion house Valentino.

Additionally, Brooklyn accused that the behavior of several family members during the wedding humiliated his wife, even during their first dance, the situation became uncomfortable, he claimed. He also stated that even when visiting London for his father’s birthday, he was not given the opportunity to spend time together. According to him, he was only allowed to attend major events under specific conditions and in front of cameras, and he was even offered to meet his father without Nicola.

Brooklyn explicitly stated, “The idea that my wife controls me is completely wrong. I was actually under my parents’ control for a large part of my life.”

Following this statement, neither David nor Victoria Beckham has given any official response. However, the issue has sparked extensive discussion among international media and fans.
