After a decade, Ashes’ ‘Feriwala’ releasing this evening

After a long wait, the highly anticipated song “Feriwala” by the band Ashes is finally being released. The music video will premiere at 6:00 PM today on the band’s official YouTube channel.

Fans have been waiting for the song for nearly a decade. In 2016, band vocalist and leader Junaid Evan first hinted at the song by sharing partial lyrics on social media. Later in 2019, a demo version was released on YouTube, but the full version was not released for a long time.

Over time, anticipation grew among listeners. Fans have continuously expressed their wait in YouTube comments over the years, with some mentioning emotional connections and long-term expectations.

Finally, the wait is ending with the release of “Feriwala.” It is part of Ashes’ album “Bivrom” as the fourth track. The lyrics and composition were done by Junaid Evan himself. The video was shot in Canada and Kaptai Lake in Rangamati. The song has also been newly recorded.

Junaid Evan said he never imagined it would take so long to release the song. He added that the continuous interest and feedback from listeners inspired them.

The release marks the end of a long wait and has created new excitement among fans.
