Neymar’s goal ends Santos’ win drought

Santos FC has finally returned to winning ways after three consecutive winless matches. In Brazil’s Serie A, they defeated Bragantino 2–0 to earn three important points. Brazilian star Neymar played a major role by scoring a goal.

Playing at home, Santos started aggressively from the beginning. However, they could not score in regular time of the first half. In added time, Neymar scored from a precise shot after a pass from Gabriel Bontempo, giving Santos a 1–0 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Santos continued attacking. In the 76th minute, Adonis Frias doubled the lead. Bragantino failed to recover, and the match ended 2–0.

Neymar played about 82 minutes in the match. His dribbling and attacking presence created excitement among fans. He had also scored in a Copa Sudamericana match earlier.

With this win, Santos improved slightly in the league table. After 15 matches, they now have 18 points and are in 15th place. Bragantino remains in 7th place with 20 points from the same number of matches.
