Expressing hope for a justice-based society, National Citizens Party (NCP) candidate Nasiruddin Patwari sought prayers in favor of the ‘Shapla Kali’ symbol in Dhaka-8 constituency. After Friday prayers, he participated in a prayer and supplication at the Central Mosque of Dhaka University.

After the prayer, Nasiruddin Patwari visited the grave of Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi, located near the university mosque. There, he demanded fair justice for Hadi’s murder and reaffirmed his commitment to implementing the ideals of the martyrs.

At this time, he stated that they want to create a safe and humane environment in Dhaka-8, where crimes such as murders and violence against women will no longer have a place. According to him, their goal is to build a society free of discrimination based on equality, human dignity, and justice.

Nasiruddin Patwari also mentioned that by following the ideals left by Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi, they aim to establish rule based on justice and fairness in Dhaka-8. It is worth noting that Sharif Osman Hadi was shot and killed in Bijoynagar, Dhaka, the day after the schedule for the 13th National Parliamentary elections was announced. Later, he was buried near the Central Mosque of Dhaka University.

On this day, he called on people to vote ‘Yes’ in the referendum, stating that only through a ‘Yes’ vote could the expectations of the martyrs be realized through a people’s uprising.

Earlier in the morning, Nasiruddin Patwari conducted public outreach in Shahbagh, Katabon, and Hatirpul areas of Dhaka. During this outreach, he told journalists that their goal is not just to get elected to Parliament, but also to take a firm stance against terrorism, corruption, and extortion.
