Mia Golam Porwar travels to Malaysia to attend Asia-Pacific conference

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Porwar has left Dhaka for Malaysia to attend an international conference in the Asia-Pacific region.

He departed for Malaysia around 2:00 AM on Thursday. He was accompanied on the trip by Member of Parliament Barrister Nazibur Rahman Momen.

According to a press release from the party, Mia Golam Porwar will participate in an important seminar to be held in Malaysia on Friday. The event is being organized by the International Institute of Advanced Islamic Studies.

He is scheduled to present a paper titled “Institutionalization of Islamic Strategic Cooperation in the Asia-Pacific Region: The Path Forward” at the seminar. After attending the regional conference, he is expected to return to the country on May 20 in the morning.
