BNP leader and politician from Gono Odhikar Parishad, Rashed Khan, has strongly criticized Nasir Uddin Patwary, a leader of the National Citizens’ Party (NCP).

In a recent interview, he claimed that Nasir Uddin Patwary’s statements and political language “do not align with healthy politics.”

Rashed Khan said that the way Nasir Uddin Patwary comments on various political figures and parties does not fall within responsible political behavior. In his words, “I do not think any sane person can speak like this.”

He alleged that Nasir Uddin Patwary recently made disrespectful remarks about the Home Minister and also made baseless allegations against him. He further claimed that insulting language was used regarding the Prime Minister, her family members, and various political parties.

He also referred to earlier statements made by Patwary about Jamaat-e-Islami. According to Rashed Khan, although he previously made harsh criticisms, Patwary later formed electoral alliances with the same party, which raises questions about political ethics.

The BNP leader further said that political criticism is acceptable, but it should be dignified and logical. He argued that personal attacks and derogatory language are damaging the political environment.

At the same time, he urged the leadership of the NCP to seriously consider Nasir Uddin Patwary’s statements and behavior internally.

This criticism has sparked new discussions in political circles. However, there has been no immediate response from Nasir Uddin Patwary or the NCP regarding these remarks.
