Khaleda Zia returns home after medical check-up

Former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has returned to her Gulshan residence, 'Firoza', after undergoing medical tests at a hospital. She arrived at her residence at 2:52 AM on Wednesday night.

Earlier, based on the decision of the medical board, she was taken to a private hospital in the capital at 1:48 AM for some urgent physical examinations. The information was confirmed in a statement to the media by Shamsuddin Didar, an official from the BNP Chairperson’s Press Wing.

The statement further mentioned that Khaleda Zia was taken to Evercare Hospital in the capital from her residence at House No. 1, Road No. 79, Gulshan-2.

BNP’s National Standing Committee member and Khaleda Zia’s personal physician, Professor Dr. A Z M Zahid Hossain, also confirmed the matter.
