Israeli Strike Kills 15, Including 8 Children, at Gaza Aid Queue

An Israeli airstrike in central Gaza has killed at least 15 Palestinians, including eight children and two women, who were reportedly waiting in a queue for nutritional supplements outside a clinic.

The incident took place on Thursday in the city of Deir al-Balah. Video footage released by the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital showed the bodies of several victims, including children, on the floor as medical staff treated the wounded.

Project HOPE, the U.S.-based aid organization that operates the clinic, condemned the attack as a "clear violation of international law."

In a statement, the Israeli military claimed the strike had targeted "Hamas terrorists" and expressed sorrow for any harm caused to civilians.

The deaths were among at least 66 people killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza on Thursday. The incident occurs even as Israel and Hamas continue to hold discussions regarding a potential ceasefire.
