To mark the first anniversary of the July Mass Uprising, a nationwide series of events titled ‘July Remembrance Celebration’ will take place from 1 July to 5 August. Today, the organizing committee has officially released the highlights of the upcoming programs.

Rallies and marches in memory of the mass uprising and martyrs
Candlelight vigils for Shaheed Abu Sayeed and other fallen heroes
Art exhibition and discussions under the theme “New Bangladesh”
Youth gatherings, student-worker conventions, and cultural evenings
Honoring families of the martyrs
Screening of documentaries and mass oath-taking events
Open forums and dialogues at district and sub-district levels
National cultural caravans carrying the message of unity and democracy
Central rally on 5 August, commemorating “July Mass Uprising Day”
A press conference on 1 July will announce the detailed schedule, venues, and participation guidelines for all events.
