Sabbir alleged that Indian pacers applied vaseline on the ball during the final day of the Oval Test, calling for an ICC investigation and caution.

According to Sabbir, it is unnatural for the ball to remain so shiny even after 80 overs. On social media platform X, he wrote, “I believe India used vaseline on the ball. Otherwise, why would the ball still be so shiny after such a long time? The umpires should send the ball to a laboratory.”

On the final day of the Oval Test, India’s pacer Mohammad Siraj bowled aggressively, dismissing England’s last four batsmen and securing the series victory. However, many netizens found humor in Sabbir’s allegations, commenting, “This is why studying cricket is necessary.”

Sabbir Ahmed, who last played a Test for Pakistan in 2007, has urged the cricketing world to be alert and requested the ICC to investigate the matter. His comments have sparked rumors and discussions within the cricket community.
