Former Khulna Press Club General Secretary Mamun Reza Passes Away

Mamun Reza, former General Secretary of Khulna Press Club and Bureau Chief of Channel 24 and Daily Samakal in Khulna, is no more. On Friday night (June 20, 2025), around 9:30 PM, Mamun Reza suddenly experienced severe chest pain while at his office. He was immediately rushed to Khulna City Medical College Hospital, but tragically, he passed away around 10:00 PM due to a massive heart attack. Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un.

Mamun Reza was a respected and dedicated journalist known for his integrity, professionalism, and fearless reporting. Over the years, he held several key responsibilities within press and media organizations in Khulna, earning admiration from peers and readers alike.
