Family plans to take Khaleda Zia to London for advanced treatment

Mahadi Amin said Khaleda Zia is currently admitted to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka. Her treatment is being managed with the coordination of domestic and foreign medical experts. Tarique Rahman and his wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman are in constant contact with the doctors from London, providing necessary instructions.

He added that Dr. Zubaida Rahman plays a key role in coordinating the medical board managing Khaleda Zia’s treatment with domestic and international doctors. Due to infection risk, party members are not allowed into the ICU, but are expressing concern and support from a distance.

Mahadi Amin said preparations are underway to take Khaleda Zia to London if her health improves. Contact has already been made with the London hospital and doctors who had successfully treated her for four months earlier this year. A state-of-the-art air ambulance is also being arranged.

He expressed hope that with public prayers and support, Khaleda Zia’s health will improve rapidly. After advanced treatment, she will once again inspire the people and play a leading role in uniting the nation.
