All state-owned and private TV channels have been instructed to avoid defamatory, insulting, or personal attacks against any political party or candidate.

A letter has been sent to the Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Wednesday. The EC requests that all political parties and candidates be given equal opportunity in electoral broadcasts.

EC Public Relations Director Ruhul Amin Mallik stated that creating a conducive environment is crucial for holding free, fair, and acceptable elections, and the media plays an important role.
