After a thrilling match filled with goals, drama, and controversy, Bayern Munich secured a place in the UEFA Champions League semifinals. The German club defeated Real Madrid 4–3 in the second leg of the quarterfinal, winning 6–4 on aggregate over two legs.

At Allianz Arena, Real Madrid shocked Bayern at the very start of the match. Within less than a minute of kickoff, Arda Güler capitalized on a goalkeeper’s mistake and scored from long range to put his team ahead. This immediately leveled the aggregate score.

However, Bayern quickly responded despite falling behind. Young midfielder Aleksandar Pavlović equalized with a header from a corner kick. The match then became intense with attacks from both sides. Midway through the first half, Güler again scored to put Real ahead. But before halftime, Harry Kane scored to level the match once more. Just before the break, Kylian Mbappé, assisted by Vinícius Jr., scored to put Real ahead again.

The second half saw even more intensity. Both teams created several chances but failed to score for long stretches. A key moment came late in the match when Real’s Camavinga was shown a red card and sent off. Taking advantage of the numerical superiority, Bayern’s Luis Díaz equalized in the 90th minute with a long-range shot.

In added time, Michael Olise scored a dramatic winner to secure victory for Bayern and eliminate Real Madrid, sending Bayern into the semifinals.

After the match, tensions increased further when Arda Güler also received a red card.

In the semifinals, Bayern will face defending champions PSG. In another quarterfinal, Arsenal defeated Sporting to reach the semifinals, and they will face Atlético Madrid.
