Claim of leaked confidential agreement, Sajeeb Wazed Joy in discussion

New information regarding the personal life and financial matters of Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, has been claimed by expatriate journalist Zulkarnaen Sayer.

In a post on his verified Facebook account on Wednesday, he claimed that he has obtained parts of a divorce settlement agreement between Sajeeb Wazed Joy and his former wife Christina Wazed. He also shared portions of documents with the post.

According to Zulkarnaen Sayer’s claim, the published documents are part of a larger legal agreement that includes various post-divorce financial settlements. According to him, the agreement includes one-time payments and monthly allowances for a certain period.

He also claimed that the documents indicate possible business relations between Sajeeb Wazed Joy and Summit Communications, raising questions of conflict of interest.

Sayer further said that during the previous government, certain industrial groups allegedly received special benefits, and these issues may come under renewed discussion.

However, no official statement has been obtained from Sajeeb Wazed Joy or any related party. The authenticity of the published information and documents could not be independently verified.
