Tasnim Jara Declares Support for Hasnat Abdullah and Mosharraf Karim

Politician and physician Dr. Tasnim Jara expressed support for National Citizen Party leader Hasnat Abdullah and popular actor Mosharraf Karim following separate incidents abroad that led to controversy and tension.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday (June 16), she criticized incidents involving political disagreements turning into violence, egg-throwing, and disorder.

She described such actions as expressions of political weakness and frustration, stating that violence is never acceptable in dealing with differing opinions.

She also expressed solidarity with Hasnat Abdullah and Mosharraf Karim, saying she respects their positions in defending public rights and interests.

Recently, tensions reportedly arose during a meeting of Hasnat Abdullah in East London, including an incident involving egg throwing. Separately, in Kolkata, India, Mosharraf Karim and his wife reportedly faced an unpleasant situation, sparking online discussion and reactions from various groups.

The incidents have renewed debate on freedom of expression, tolerance, and respect for differing opinions in democratic spaces.
