A Facebook post calling for financial assistance for victims of the Milestone School and College plane crash was published on Tuesday afternoon from the official page of the Chief Adviser of the interim government.
The post stated that those willing to help the victims of the tragic crash could send donations to a designated account under the Chief Adviser’s Relief and Welfare Fund. The post also included the relevant bank account number.
However, within just thirty minutes of being published, the post was removed from the page and has not been reposted since. The reason for its sudden disappearance remains unknown.
This has sparked questions and concern, particularly as the appeal was intended to support the families affected by the tragedy. The removal of the post has raised eyebrows and drawn criticism at a time when public solidarity is most needed.
As of now, no official explanation has been provided by the government regarding the removal of the post.
