In the Super Four match of the Asia Cup between Bangladesh and India, India’s main pacer Jasprit Bumrah will not be rested. India’s assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate confirmed that they will field their best XI in every match, and Bumrah is part of that squad.
Ryan said, “It’s difficult to say for certain before the last match whether we’ve reached the final. So, the chances of resting Bumrah are low. However, considering workload management, he may be rested against Sri Lanka. Everything depends on the result against Bangladesh.”
Tonight’s match at 8:30 PM could pose a significant challenge for Bangladesh. In head-to-head statistics, India has won 16 out of 20 matches, with Bangladesh’s only victory coming in a comparatively weaker encounter.
