In the final of the Tri-nation Under-19 series held in Zimbabwe, Bangladesh Under-19 cricket team won the trophy by defeating South Africa by 33 runs with an outstanding performance. Rizhan Hossain emerged as the match hero by scoring 95 runs with the bat and taking 5 wickets with the ball.

After losing the toss and batting first, Bangladesh had a shaky start with quick wickets falling in the top order. However, Rizhan and Kalam Siddiqui Aline steadied the innings. For the Proteas, Bandile Batha took two wickets.

Chasing the target of 270, South African batsmen kept losing wickets regularly. They struggled to handle the pace and spin of Rizhan and Al Fahad. Rizhan took 5 wickets for 34 runs, while Al Fahad claimed 2 wickets. The highest scorer for South Africa was Adnan Lagadwien with 40 runs, followed by Jason Rols with 35 runs. The Proteas were all out for 236 runs in 48.4 overs.

Rizhan Hossain won the Player of the Match award for his all-round performance, ensuring the team's victory with both bat and ball. With this win, the Bangladesh Under-19 team will return home with the Tri-nation series trophy.
