Unidentified Male Body Parts Found in Travel Bag on Tongi Station Road, Gazipur

Police recovered dismembered body parts of an unidentified male from a travel bag found on the footpath of Tongi Station Road in Gazipur. The incident took place on Friday (August 8) around 9:30 AM when officers from Tongi East Police Station retrieved the body from the scene.

Locals noticed the abandoned travel bag on the footpath and alerted the police. Upon opening the bag, the police found the dismembered body parts inside. It is suspected that someone had dumped the bag at the location during the previous night.

Muhammad Faridul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Tongi East Police Station, stated that the identity of the deceased has not yet been determined.
