The new romantic-comedy film ‘Together but Separate’ will premiere during Eid-ul-Fitr. This film offers a new one-hour format experience of a full-length movie, available on the Hoichoi platform.
The story portrays modern urban relationships, where despite love, work pressure, personal dreams, and the need for “personal space” gradually distance people from each other. Director Rezaur Rahman said, “We wanted to tell a story of a time when people are together yet growing apart. Our main goal is to truly convey the silent emotions of the characters to the audience.”
The film features Yash Rohan and Parsa Ivana on screen together for the first time. According to the director, their popularity and on-screen chemistry will be a special attraction for viewers. Yash Rohan said, “The story is very relatable to our surroundings. Viewers will easily see parts of their own lives in it.” Parsa Ivana added, “Although it is a romantic comedy, it contains subtle human emotions, dilemmas, fears, and unspoken words. We tried to portray these emotions authentically.”
The cast also includes Tareq Anam Khan, Tushar Khan, Rozi Siddiqui, Deepa Khandakar, and a group of experienced actors, enriching the emotional and credible portrayal of the story.
Hoichoi Bangladesh Country Director Sakib Ar Khan said, “Together but Separate is an important addition to our content journey. This simple yet deeply emotional story will create a unique place in the hearts of viewers.”
The film releasing on Eid-ul-Fitr is not just a new format movie but also a timely cinematic portrayal of modern urban relationships and sensitivities. It remains to be seen how urban audiences relate their own lives to the characters on screen.
