Tarique Rahman visits father’s grave at Zia Udyan

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman left his Gulshan residence around 3:00 PM on Friday to visit the grave of former President Ziaur Rahman at Zia Udyan. He later plans to visit the National Martyrs’ Memorial in Savar.

A red-and-green decorated bus was prepared outside his residence for the journey. Thousands of party leaders, activists, and supporters gathered along the route, waving party flags and posters.

Security measures were heightened along Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, with additional law enforcement personnel deployed, and checkpoints established around Zia Udyan.
