The results of the re-scrutiny of answer scripts for this year's SSC and equivalent examinations are likely to be published on September 10. On that day, students will be able to view their results on the respective education board websites. Additionally, arrangements will be made to notify results via mobile SMS.
An official from the Dhaka Education Board provided this information on Thursday (August 20).
The board official stated that a proposal has been submitted to conduct online applications for Class 11 admission from September 2 through September 10. Following the completion of the admission process, classes for Class 11 are planned to commence on September 23.
Students who have applied for re-scrutiny must also submit their Class 11 admission applications within the designated timeframe. However, if any student's result changes following the re-scrutiny, they will be given the opportunity to apply anew based on their updated results.
The official added that a proposal regarding this schedule has been sent to the Ministry of Education for approval. The Dhaka Education Board expects to receive approval for this schedule by Thursday.
Meanwhile, a massive volume of applications has been submitted for the re-scrutiny of SSC and equivalent exam results this year. More than 400,000 examinees have submitted nearly 1.3 million applications in total.
Among these, 1,056,455 applications were filed for the re-scrutiny of written or theoretical examination answer scripts. Meanwhile, 231,471 applications were submitted for the re-scrutiny of practical examination papers.
Following the publication of the initial results, many students who did not receive their expected marks applied for re-scrutiny. Now, many of them are awaiting the re-scrutiny outcomes. The issue has become particularly crucial for students as the publication date of the re-scrutiny results is being coordinated with the Class 11 admission schedule.
However, the publication of results on September 10 is not yet final. The re-scrutiny results and the Class 11 admission schedule will be officially confirmed only after approval from the Ministry of Education.
